We'll take you on a camping trip to the beach -
Want to take the family or a friend camping but don't know what to do or just
don't feel like purchasing gear? We can rent you the gear you need or you
can go with us. We'll provide the equipment, set up the tent, cook the
meals, make the campfire and take you for a beach walk looking for ghost crabs.
Cost: $75/night per adult - $50/night per child (double or family tents available)
Location: NPS Frisco Campground, Frisco, NC or NPS Oregon Inlet
Campground, Nags Head, NC
This is what a typical trip would
Include: Meet at 3:00pm at pre-arranged location, travel to campground,
we set up tents while you explore, shower, etc. We start dinner (Outer
Banks steamed dinner: steamed shrimp, clams, corn on the cob, potatoes,
sausage) coleslaw or potato salad, cornbread, tea or lemonade. You provide
alcoholic beverages if desired). After dinner, we clean up and prepare the
fire. We then guide you to the beach with flashlights to search for ghost
crabs and explore the beach. We then head back for the fire and S'mores.
In the morning we rise and make coffee for you followed by breakfast of either
eggs, bacon, hashbrowns or granola with fruit and yogurt. We'll take time
to relax, explore the maritime forest and check out by 11:00.
Optional Activities: These options are available before we meet you at
the campsite or after we check out. You choose depending on where you are
headed next and your desired activity and schedule.
Sailing Tour - $35 tour/$49 lessonpp/located on Roanoke Island,
this 2 hour sailing tour or lesson will introduce you how to sail our 22ft
Catalina Capri mono hull sailboat.
Kayaking Tour - $29 pp/located on Hatteras Island, Bodie Island or Roanoke Island
