KAYAK FISHING Love to fish, but just don't have a powerboat in your budget for near future? You might want to try kayak fishing. Relatively inexpensive to get started in. You can rent a kayak for fishing before you think about investing in purchasing one. Sit on tops are big favorites of many kayak fisherman since they are pretty much unsinkable and fairly inexpensive. You can outfit your boat with fishing rod holders, cooler cradles, anchors, paddle hooks, pretty much anything you want to add to make your fishing experience more comfortable for you. We sell kayaks rigged for fishing and as well as a large selection of kayak fishing equipment and will help you outfit your boat. You don't have to buy or rent a boat from us to ask us for advice. Fishing from a kayak give you a different perspective on fishing. There is a greater closeness to the water that you just can't get in a powerboat. So, give it a try. You can rent fishing kayaks ready to fish or purchase one of your own.
4-5 hours guided and outfitted tours - $150 Your guide, Capt. Matt Landrum has been fishing the outer banks since he was a small boy. He grew up in Rodanthe fishing the marshes, piers and beaches. He owned and operated the fishing boat "Fintasia" at Pirates Cove for years but has since sold it. He now devotes his time and fishing skills to kayak fishing. He'll guide you to some of the better spots for fishing or can give you some pointers and a map if you want to rent a kayak (or take your own) and go it alone. |
